Hello, I am using a Cambridge Silicone Radio Bluetooth 4.0 USB Micro Adapter Dongle with a CSR8510 Class 2 Low Energy Controller chip. I am using the driver set included on CD. The dongle works fine streaming music from my android phone to the Windows 10 PC. On my Windows 10 PC, the Bean can be detected and connected through the system tray bluetooth icon. But, using the Start Menu, Bluetooth is not listed under Settings, Devices Bluetooth, Printers, Mouse.
Finally, the Bean Loader never shows my Bean as available and following 'Beans can be added in the System Settings' throws me back to my missing Bluetooth devices under Settings. Not sure this is relevant but my android phone can also detect the Bean under its Bluetooth options.
Sure would like to get my Bean talking! Many thanks in advance. PC is running CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack Version 2.1.63.0. Bean is shown as 'Connected' under >This PC >My Bluetooth Devices. Bean Loader is version 1.1.0.0 Recently deleted the dongle under Device Manager then reinstalled by simply plugging the dongle back in. Not sure if its using canned Win 10 drivers or same old previously installed drivers. Screens look the same.
No joy I have just ordered another bluetooth dongle that is using Broadcom BCM20702 chipset. Reviews are favorable. Users claim it works with Win 10.
Hi karel, I just got through plugging in my new USB Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy Micro Adapter that uses the Broadcom chip. I did not use the drivers from the included CD. Windows 10 recognized the hardware and installed the drivers for me! And guess what.
