Hope you can help me. I own a Pantone ColorVision ColorPlus colorimeter that I used successfully on my old XP Pro machine.
This is the $99 consumer version of the pro devices. The hardware is fine for my needs. I wonder if there is software that would allow this device to be used on my fancy new Win 7 64 bit machine. It seems a waste to just toss this colorimeter. I tried to get through to Pantone, but they seem to make it nearly impossible to get through unless you own a current product.

It successfully ran on my Win 7, 64 bit machine with my old ColorPlus probe. Unfortunately, the results were pretty crummy--I ended up with about 20 points of magenta and a bit of blue/violet for my 'calibration.' I ended up reverting back to my monitor's default setting, which fortunately looks pretty good. Maybe you'll have better luck!
